PRE-BREAKFAST
16oz of water with lemon, Twining English Breakfast Tea and Traditional Medicinal Everyday Detox Tea or Traditional Medicinal Dandelion Root Tea
BREAKFAST
Flax Granola, Blueberries, Coconut Milk and Hyvee Red Rooibos Tea with honey.
LUNCH
Zucchini from last night with baby romaine, 1 oz of goat cheese and a rye cracker with 2 tbsp of hummus.
SNACK
Handful of delicious, sweet, raw almonds and 1/2 an apple...oh! Peppermint Tea
DINNER
STEAK! Greens, pumpkin seeds and roasted veggies with goat cheese (the recipe calls for manchego but it is over $1/oz and out of my comfort zone for a cheese I'm not even sure I like)
DESSERT
5oz of red wine (Cupcake Vineyards Pinot Noir) with 1 oz of chocolate (Hershey's Special Dark. There are other options like chocolate drizzled pears or poached fruit with whipped cream. But why mess with perfection?
DAILY RECAP
I felt great all day, probably because insomnia is something of the past. Oh! I made my own dried cranberries today. FAIL. Somehow they are over tart and very crunchy. I'll still eat them, I can't waste 48oz of cranberries!
I missed steak so much. I can't believe that I was a vegetarian for most of my life! Steak is muy delicioso. :)
I've got a whole house to throw in order before bed...so bye!
